Bladder Cancer

People who have worked with certain chemicals including dyes, rubber, textiles, printing, plastics and paints are thought to be at higher risk of developing Bladder Cancer than the general population.

The link between exposure to certain chemicals and bladder cancer was discovered in the 1950s and 60s when many of the toxic chemicals were banned.

However, the biggest risk factor for Bladder Cancer is smoking because cigarette smoke contains the chemicals known to cause the condition.  It can take up to 25 years for symptoms of this condition to develop.

If you have been diagnosed with Bladder Cancer and you have been exposed to dyes, rubber, textiles, printing, plastics and paints in your work get in touch with us now, and one of our experienced team of qualified specialist personal injury lawyers will be able to advise you further.
